Fr. Thankachen Joseph in his Good Friday message said on Good Friday the Christian remember about the self denial and self surrender by Jesus for the salvation of humanity. Jesus suffered and died for mankind so that there is salvation for all. Death has also its meaning. Death is not a sad event for human beings as Jesus died and rose again the third day so that new life is born. Jesus wants to teach everyone that death is not the end, but the beginning of a new life, Fr. Tankachen said.

The service ended with the distribution of Holy Communion by Priests to the faithful.
