NAGAON, Nov 18:Â In preparation for the upcoming Chhath Puja celebrations, a team of senior railway officials, led by divisional manager Prem Ranjan Kumar of Lumding Division, visited Lumding railway station to inspect facilities and security measures. The officials interacted with passengers, gaining feedback and ensuring that all necessary arrangements were in place.
As part of the preparations, the railway team ceremonially launched 15 additional special trains along with three other special trains. These additional services aim to facilitate the transportation of passengers travelling for Chhath Puja. The special trains include services from Dibrugarh to Gorakhpur, Tinsukia to Gorakhpur, and New Tinsukia to Madhubani.
The initiative by Lumding division seeks to ensure smooth and efficient transportation for individuals observing Chhath Puja, providing them with accessible and convenient travel options.
