Train origination & termination changes extended in Dibrugarh region

GUWAHATI, Sept 7: In light of the temporary closure of Dibrugarh town station for the reconstruction of Mancotta ROB and railway electrification work, several trains that had previously changed their origination and termination stations from Dibrugarh town station to Dibrugarh station until September 6 have been further extended until September 30, 2023.

As a result, the following train schedules have been modified; train no 12424 (New Delhi – Dibrugarh) Rajdhani Express: From September 5 to September 30, 2023, this train will depart from New Delhi at 16:20 hours and arrive in Dibrugarh at 06:00 hours.

Train no 12423 (Dibrugarh – New Delhi) Rajdhani Express: From September 7 to September 30, 2023, this train will depart from Dibrugarh at 20:55 hours and reach New Delhi at 10:30 hours.

Train no 15669 (Guwahati – Dibrugarh) Nagaland Express: From September 6 to September 30, 2023, this train will depart from Guwahati at 20:45 hours and arrive in Dibrugarh at 10:30 hours.

Train no 15670 (Dibrugarh – Guwahati) Nagaland Express: From September 7 to September 30, 2023, this train will depart from Dibrugarh at 14:05 hours and reach Guwahati at 03:15 hours.

Train no 05916 (Dibrugarh – Simaluguri Jn.) Passenger Special: From September 7 to September 30, 2023, this train will depart from Dibrugarh at 17:35 hours and reach Simaluguri Jn. at 20:05 hours.

Train no 05915 (Simaluguri Jn. – Dibrugarh) Passenger Special: From September 7 to September 30, 2023, this train will depart from Simaluguri Jn. at 06:25 hours and arrive in Dibrugarh at 08:45 hours.

Additionally, train no 07902/07903 (Ledo – Dibrugarh Town – Ledo) DEMU Special, which was extended up to Murkongselek via Chaulkhowa – Dibrugarh while bypassing Dibrugarh Town station from May 7 to September 6, 2023, is further extended to run until September 30, 2023. Train no 07902 (Ledo – Murkongselek) DEMU Special will depart from Ledo at 06:45 hours and arrive in Murkongselek at 12:15 hours. In the return direction, train no. 07903 (Murkongselek – Ledo) DEMU Special will depart from Murkongselek at 15:30 hours and reach Ledo at 21:00 hours.

The operation of this train is providing convenience to passengers traveling between the North and South banks of the Brahmaputra in a part of Assam and Arunachal Pradesh.
