GUWAHATI, March 29: A non-financial memorandum of understanding was signed on Monday between ASRLM and SELCO Foundation (SF) at the office of the state mission director, ASRLM in Guwahati.
Notably, SELCO Foundation is a not-for-profit, public charitable trust having its regional office at Guwahati. It has been working to address other SDGs through Sustainable Development Goals-7 by ecosystem development approach. The MoU is being signed for demonstration of entrepreneurship with Decentralized Renewable Energy (DRE) solutions for the improvement of life and livelihoods, making it as accessible, affordable, and impactful to the SHG women under ASRLM. The project that will be implemented by ASRLM with technical and partial financial support from SELCO Foundation aims to make the rural economy resilient to future pandemics.
