GUWAHATI, April 18: The three-day Northeast livestock-aqua-poultry expo was inaugurated in Maniram Dewan Trade Center, Guwahati on Tuesday. The expo focuses on livestock, aquaculture and fisheries, poultry, meat processing, and dairying and its scope in the northeast region. The expo also includes a couple of technical aspects like animal breeding and reproduction technology, husbandry and feeding technology, feed production, aquaculture and fisheries, environment technology, processing and packaging equipment, etc.
On the occasion, Pravash Pradhan convener of the expo on the occasion said, “We are happy to organize first of its kind expo for three days on Northeast Livestock-Aqua-Poultry here in Guwahati, this expo will help the livestock, aqua, and poultry industry grow in the northeast region.”

Notably, the three days expo scheduled to continue till April 20 will include people from various sectors like dealers and distributors, farmers, entrepreneurs, aqua professionals, financial institutions, feed millers, health and medicine companies, policymakers, government officials, veterinary professionals, etc.
