50 tonnes of pumpkins exported to Kolkata

DEMOW, Jan 3: In a positive start to the new year, farmers from Mahkhuwa Chapori, under the Nitaipukhuri Agriculture Circle of Rajabari Gaon Panchayat in Thowra constituency, achieved a significant milestone. Hemanta Taw, working in collaboration with the Agriculture Department, successfully cultivated pumpkins in 50 acres of land. The venture saw its first phase culmination on January 1, 2024, with the export of 50 tonnes of pumpkins to Kolkata. Thowra MLA Sushanta Borgohain extended his congratulations and appreciation to Hemanta Taw and the Agriculture Department for this notable accomplishment.
