SIVASAGAR, Aug 1: Charu Mahanta, a beloved and pious resident of Seujpur, Sivasagar, and wife of Ujjanial Satradhikar Laksmikanta Mahanta, passed away on Wednesday night at Siu-Ka-Pha Hospital, Rajabari, due to age-related ailments. She was 87. Charu Mahanta was loved and respected by all who came into contact with her, including the community associated with the reputed sports enterprise Industrial Art on Boarding Road, Sivasagar.
She is survived by her husband Laksmikanta Mahanta, five sons, daughters-in-law, and grandchildren.
