Additional special trains announced to address passenger rush

GUWAHATI, Dec 11: In response to the increased passenger demand, the Northeast Frontier Railway has decided to operate additional one-way special trains. These special trains are scheduled for a single trip between the following stations: New Jalpaiguri – Delhi Jn., Dibrugarh – Vadodara Jn., and Rangapara North – Secunderabad.

Train No. 05799 (New Jalpaiguri – Delhi Jn.) will depart from New Jalpaiguri at 13:40 hours on 15th December 2023 (Friday) and is expected to reach Delhi Jn. at 15:30 hours on the following day. The train will pass through Kishanganj, Katihar Jn., Barauni Jn., Pt. Deen Dayal Upadhyaya Jn., Prayagraj Chheoki, among other stations.

Train No. 05936 (Dibrugarh – Vadodara Jn.) will depart from Dibrugarh at 05:00 hours on 16th December 2023 (Saturday) and will reach Vadodara Jn. at 13:30 hours on 18th December 2023 (Monday). The route includes North Lakhimpur, Rangapara North, New Misamari, Rangiya, New Bongaigaon, New Jalpaiguri Jn., Barsoi Jn., Katihar, Barauni Jn., Pt. Deen Dayal Upadhyaya, Ujjain Jn., and more.

Train No. 02605 (Rangapara North – Secunderabad) will depart from Rangapara North on 17th December 2023 (Sunday) at 18:00 hours and is scheduled to reach Secunderabad at 16:30 hours on 19th December 2023 (Tuesday). The train will pass through Udalguri, Rangiya Jn., New Bongaigaon, New Coochbehar, New Jalpaiguri Jn., Malda Town, Kharagpur Jn., Bhubaneswar, Visakhapatnam, Vijaywada Jn., among other stations.

Passengers with waitlisted tickets on other trains operating on these routes are encouraged to take advantage of these additional special trains. Details of the special trains are available on the social media platforms of N.F. Railway, and passengers are advised to verify the information before commencing their journey.
