The three-day festivities, starting from February 13, witnessed a significant turnout from the tea estate, surrounding areas, and various parts of Dhekiajuli. The celebration included cultural events such as Dhan Divas, Kalah Yatra, lantern lighting, Harinam Kirtan, Maha Snan, and Jaldhibas. The ‘Pran Pratishtha’ ceremony and Maha Yajna marked the conclusion of the festivities. Local residents expressed their gratitude to minister Singhal for his pivotal role in the establishment of the Mahaprabhu Sri Sri Jagannath Temple.

Earlier on Thursday morning, minister Singhal visited the Sri Sri Gupteshwar Temple at the foothill of Shingri Hills to assess the progress of the Archaeological Department’s expedition aimed at uncovering the temple’s historical treasures.

Continuing his dedication to community welfare, minister Singhal distributed cheques as part of financial assistance from the Chief Minister’s Relief Fund to 77 beneficiaries facing financial vulnerability in the Dhekiajuli constituency.
