A vehicle with the registration number AS 01 DJ 3162 was also engulfed by the fire. Initial reports suggest that the fire originated from a rented room within the house. At the time of the incident, the house was reportedly vacant.

The fire led to the destruction of property worth several lakhs of rupees. The neighbouring house no. 43 was slightly affected by the fire. However, no injuries or fatalities were reported.
