Awareness meet organised

GUWAHATI, Feb 23: The Magic Bus India Foundation, a non-government organisation, organised an awareness meet on ‘Menstrual Health and Hygiene Management’ on Thursday in a befitting manner.

The event was held in the auditorium of Bartari Anchalik High School in Kamrup district.

Inaugurating the program, Hiranya Bairagi, cluster manager of the NGO, said that menstruation is a natural process and girls should be aware of the hygiene they need to maintain during menstruation.

Attending the event, state project officer Nazifa Hazarika Ahmed explained in detail about ‘Menstrual Health and Hygiene Management’.

The event was attended by the head teacher of Bartari Anchalik High School, NGO staff Sumi Kalita, Utpal Das, students, and all the guardians.
