CEO Assam Anurag Goel visits Gossaigaon

GOSSAIGAON, April 30: In a bid to conduct the third phase of Lok Sabha election in a hassle free manner which is scheduled on May 7, state chief election commissioner Anurag Goel paid a brief visit at Gossaigaon to oversee the various aspects of polling scenario on Monday last.

After arriving in Gossaigaon CEO, Assam Anurag goel visited areas of concern such as Strong Room, Counting Centre, postal facility centre etc.

Later on a general meet was also held at the conference hall of SDO-Civil office, Gossaigaon with Anurag Goel, CEO, Assam in the chair and this was largely attended by Aranyak Saikia, IAS, SDO-Civil, Gossaigaon, SDO-CIVIL, Parbhatjhora, election officers and took stock of the overall progress report related to Lok Sabha Election.
