Dibrugarh University youth fest disrupted

SIVASAGAR, Jan 24: The Dibrugarh University Youth Festival 2025 at Swahid Peoli Phukan College, Namti that began on Wednesday was disrupted when the general secretary of PG Students Union was thrashed by a gang of unruly students last night. The students resorted to picketing on Friday demanding police action against the attackers. The principal of the SPP College Dr Dhruvajyoti Nath lodged an FIR in Namti PS on Friday. Later the Festival programme was resumed.
