DALGAON, March 27: Dalgaon Police apprehended a drug peddler named Md Ahejuddin Ali (47) son of late Holu Seikh, residing at No 3 Baruajhar village, Dalgaon, on Tuesday evening from No 1/2 Baruajhar. The police recovered 25 plastic containers suspected to contain heroin, weighing a total of 32 grams with vials and 4 grams without vials. Additionally, one scooty bearing registration no AS-13M-5039 was seized from his possession. A case under Dalgaon PS case No 66/24 U/S 21(a) of the NDPS Act has been initiated against the accused. Police sources stated that the arrested individual will be forwarded to court.
