JAGIROAD, July 28: The frequent power cuts in Jagiroad have become a major cause of concern for the residents, leading to widespread discontent among consumers. The unpredictable power outages, occurring multiple times from morning to evening, have caused immense inconvenience to the local populace.
Students and small business owners are particularly affected by the irregular power supply, facing significant hardships in their daily activities. The local community is expressing frustration, questioning why the Assam Power Distribution Company Limited (APDCL) is not providing uninterrupted power supply, especially when the company is digitalising its systems for consumer billing and other operations.
Residents are urging the authorities to address the issue promptly and ensure reliable power supply for the benefit of the consumers. They also emphasise the importance of maintaining a clean and hygienic environment in the APDCL staff colony at Jagiroad to promote a healthy living condition for the inhabitants.
It has been observed that the surroundings of the APDCL staff colony are neglected, with little attention paid by the officials residing outside the colony. Residents call on the concerned authorities to take proactive measures to rectify these issues and ensure a better living experience for the people of Jagiroad.
