BISWANATH CHARIALI, Jan 19: In a tragic road accident that took place at the road crossing on NH 15 at Nagsankar, one Nripen Daimary died on the spot on Sunday. According to information, Daimary, the bike rider, was heading towards his home in his motorcycle bearing registration number AS12 D6200. As he was about to cross NH 15, a Scorpio car bearing registration number AS01EB1919 which appeared from the same direction hit him at the crossing. Daimary sustained a serious injury and succumbed to the injury. The deceased originally hailed from Chengamari village. Later on, a team of Sootea police sent the body for autopsy.
