GOSSAIGAON, Nov 26: As the Lok Sabha elections draw near, the United People’s Party Liberal (UPPL) is actively engaging in election preparations to contest the No.5 Kokrajhar Lok Sabha constituency. The party aims to secure victory in this crucial seat and is working on strengthening its base and gaining voters’ trust.

Under the Srirampur Block Committee, UPPL organised a training camp for party workers to equip them with the skills needed to effectively engage with voters in the upcoming Lok Sabha elections in 2024. The training camp was inaugurated by Wilson Hasda, a nominated executive member of the Bodoland Territorial Council (BTC).

During the inauguration, Wilson Hasda emphasised the importance of dedication and maintaining a positive relationship with voters. He urged party leaders and workers at all levels to continue their efforts with commitment.

Anindra Basumatary, president of the Gossaigaon District Committee, UPPL, addressed the workers and called on them to raise awareness about the various developmental schemes implemented by the Bodoland Territorial Region (BTR) government. He emphasised the need to communicate the party’s mission, vision, and principles to secure victory in the Kokrajhar Lok Sabha constituency.
