Public interaction programme held

BOKAJAN, Jan 24: The Executive Member of Karbi Anglong Autonomous Council (KAAC), Surya Rongphar held ‘public interaction’ programme at Sarumanthi Open Stage and later distributed land pattas. The land pattas are distributed under Purthimi Akemang scheme by KAAC.

The programme was attended by village headmen Ruhini Bey and Vophong Bey; VDC chairman Sonaram Singnar; Bokajan Municipal Board Chairman, Sundor Engti and others.

‘Public interaction’ has been underway in Karbi Anglong and West Karbi Anglong under the administrative control of KAAC. The effort by KAAC is to get close to the people and know the wants and grievances on the ground.
