BOKAJAN, April 15: With the demand of scheduled tribe status for Adivasis living in the state, the Bharat Adivasi Party will support the Congress candidate Joyram Engleng in the forthcoming Lok Sabha polls.

Interacting with the media Bobo Basti in karbi Anglong on Sunday the president of Bharat Adivasi Party, Sahil Munda said BJP has adopted a lacklustre attitude towards them. Although the Adivasi Welfare Council has been sanctioned, it has not been properly implemented.
