KOKRAJHAR, June 1: A two-day residential programme on the topic of leading Bodoland: strategic vision and collaborative leadership was concluded on Saturday being held at The Sikhiri Cottage, Manas National Park in Baksa.
A total twenty participants representing officials, OSDs (officers on special duty), government of Bodoland Territorial Region (BTR), media consultants, youth leaders participated in the event which was organised by the department of education, Govt of BTR and Disom-The Leadership School.
Biren Bhuta, the founder director of the Disom graced as chief resource person, and imparted training on the leadership capacity building.
The training has been aimed to impart training on leadership capacity building up, social integration, strengthening of the communication, smart and better governance.
“The leadership training programme was impressive and excellent for gaining knowledge and gathering information. The programme gained it’s attraction amongst the participants which had gathered discussion on various developmental aspects, social uplift orientation, integration amongst the communities besides highlighting the vision building up in Bodoland region”, a participant said.
