Noted filmmaker Parvez Ahmed felicitated

NAGAON, June 8: Kallol Sangskritik Gosthi, a pioneer cultural organization of greater Nagaon town, celebrated its glorious 53rd foundation day today at its auditorium in Nagaon.

As part of the celebration, the organization felicitated noted filmmaker and director Parvez Ahmed in recognition of his remarkable contributions and promising achievements in the field of cinema. In a touching gesture, Ahmed was also felicitated separately by Ami Satirtha, a group comprising his childhood friends, during the event.

The programme was chaired by Luit Kalita, President of Kallol Sangskritik Gosthi, while the proceedings were mentored and coordinated by the organization’s secretary, Naushad Akhtar Hazarika.

The felicitation ceremony saw the warm presence of many of Ahmed’s childhood friends, including Biswajit Mahanta, Anupam Borkatoki, Ujjwal Baruah, Bhaben Nath, Dibyajyoti Sarma, Kokil Mahanta, Parag Goswami, Jaideep Sarma, Montu Deka, Deepak Saikia, Bhaben Saikia, Saurabh Mahanta, Bikash Borthakur, Gautam Deb Roy, Dipmoni Goswami, Bhaskar Bhattacharya, Dibyajyoti Bora, Zakir Hussain, and Joon Rajkhuwa, among others.

Following the felicitation, Parvez Ahmed took a moment to share cherished memories from his past, expressing heartfelt gratitude and recalling the deep bond he has maintained over the years with his friends and with the cultural organization that shaped his early journey—Kallol Sangskritik Gosthi.
