KOKRAJHAR, Feb 14: The executive council (EC) meeting of the Bodoland Territorial Council (BTC) was held at the BTC Secretariat conference hall, Bodofa Nwgwr in Kokrajhar on Friday ahead of the first ever Budget Session of the Assam Legislative Assembly in Kokrajhar.
Notably, the Budget Session of the Assam Legislative Assembly will take place on February 17 at Bodoland Territorial Council Legislative Assembly House. The budget session will take place for the first time out of the Assam Legislative Assembly House.

The meeting was chaired by Pramod Boro, the chief executive member of Bodoland Territorial Region, that reviewed the preparations of the first-ever Budget & Assembly Session of the Assam Legislative Assembly in the BTC Legislative Assembly, and discussed several other important developmental agenda.
This landmark event marks a significant milestone in the legislative history of BTR.
CEM Boro also held a meeting with office staff and officials of BTC Secretariat regarding preparation for holding the Budget Session of the Assam Legislative Assembly in Kokrajhar scheduled on February 17.
