GUWAHATI, Sept 28: On the occasion of Gandhi Jayanti, a pledge taking ceremony under the Green Bodoland Mission will take place at the BTC Secretariat, reflecting the government’s commitment to fostering a sustainable and environmentally conscious region.
BTC Chief Pramod Boro will grace the event, which starts with a welcome music performance by Dr. Gwmwthao (Serja) followed by an inaugural address.
The Bodoland Peace and Happiness Mission Team will present a theme song dedicated to the cause, with remarks from BTR CEM Pramod Boro and BTC Principal Secretary Akash Deep leading into the formal pledge-taking ceremony.
Additionally, a special felicitation ceremony will honor outstanding contributions from a writer and translator involved in the mission. The event will continue at the Bodofa Cultural Complex from 10 AM to 1 PM, featuring an interactive session with the Green Brigades.
