NFR to run five special trains to clear festive rush

GUWAHATI, March 14: In a bid to clear the extra rush of passengers during the ensuing festive season of Holi, it has been decided to run five pairs of passenger special trains. The special trains will be operated between Sealdah- Jagiroad- Sealdah, New Tinsukia – Jaynagar- New Tinsukia, and Udaipur – Katihar-Udaipur, each running for two trips. The Holi Special trains between Hapa – Naharlagun – Hapa and Ranchi – Purnia – Ranchi will run for a single trip each.

Special Train no 03105 (Sealdah – Jagiroad) will depart on March 15 and 22, 2024 at 09:00 hours from Sealdah to reach Jagiroad on the next day at 06:30 hours. In the return direction, Train no 03106 (Jagiroad – Sealdah) will start its journey on March 16 & 23, 2024 from Jagiroad at 13:00 hours to reach its destination at Sealdah on the next day at 13:00 hours. Train no 05974 (New Tinsukia – Jaynagar) will depart on March 19 & 26, 2024 at 05:00 hours from New Tinsukia to reach Jaynagar on the next day at 09:30 hours. In the return direction, Train no 05973 (Jaynagar – New Tinsukia) will start its journey on March 20 and 27, 2024 from Jaynagar at 12:10 hours to reach its destination New Tinsukia on the next day at 21:00 hours. Train no 09623 (Udaipur – Katihar) will depart on March 19 and 26, 2024 (Tuesday) at 16:05 hours from Udaipur to reach Katihar at 02:45 on Thursday. In the return direction, Train no 09624 (Katihar-Udaipur) will start its journey on March 21 and 28, 2024 from Katihar on Thursday at 15:00 hours to reach its destination Udaipur at 04:15 hours on Saturday. Train no 09525 (Hapa – Naharlagun) Special will depart from Hapa at 00:40 hours on Wednesday, March 20, 2024 and reach Naharlagun at 16:00 hours on Friday. Similarly, Train no 09526 (Naharlagun – Hapa) will depart from Naharlagun at 10:00 hours on Saturday, March 23, 2024 and reach Hapa at 00:30 hours on Tuesday. Train no 08849 (Ranchi– Purnia) Special will depart from Ranchi at 05:30 hours on Saturday, March 23, 2024 and reach Purnia at 21:00 hours on the same day. Similarly, Train no 08850 (Purnia – Ranchi) will depart from Purnia at 23:55 hours on March 23, 2024 (Saturday) and reach Ranchi at 14:25 hours on the next day.

The details of stoppages and timings of these trains are available on the IRCTC website and have also been notified in various newspapers and social media platforms of NF Railway. Passengers are requested to verify the details before undertaking their journey.
