Guwahati, Sept 12: The Federation of Industry & Commerce of North Eastern Region (FINER) organized an interactive session with Rakesh Agarwala, IAS Commissioner of Taxes, Government of Assam for FINER Members at Hotel Palacio recently. Agarwala deliberated at length about the plans and initiatives of the government for the promotion and development of Industries with a focus on employment generation and the creation of a conducive eco-system for flourishing industry and commerce. He discussed how public finance is handled and stressed proper tax compliance by industry and trade.
