CRPF’s 138 Bn organises civic action program

GUWAHATI, March 20: On Tuesday, the 138 Bn, CRPF organised a civic action programme at the Government Middle School in Seppa, East Kameng, Arunachal Pradesh. During this event, the 138 Bn CRPF established a library providing books, bookshelves, and furniture (tables & chairs) to the school authorities, enabling access to a large collection of different kinds of books and other reading materials for students in one place.

Several dignitaries from civil administration, civil police, local public, staff, and students of the school were present during the civic action programme, including Himanshu Nigam, ADC, Seppa, East Kameng, Rajendra Kumar, commandant 138 Bn CRPF, and Khya Sonam, principal of Government Middle School, Seppa.

A beautiful cultural program was organised by the students of the Government Middle School, Seppa, as part of the occasion. Rajendra Kumar, commandant 138 Bn CRPF, highlighted the importance of education in the development of society and expressed the commitment of 138 Bn CRPF to promote education in the future.

Himanshu Nigam, ADC, Seppa, East Kameng, appreciated the dance performance by the students and emphasised the importance of libraries in shaping the future and careers of students. Drawing from his own experience, he encouraged students to utilise the library to enhance their lives and thanked CRPF for their assistance.

In his closing remarks, Khya Sonam, principal of Government Middle School, Seppa, expressed gratitude to CRPF for establishing the library and assured that their contribution would benefit the students. He pledged that all staff members of the school would contribute a book to the newly established library from their own salaries and thanked all dignitaries for attending the function.
