The accused, identified as Jalaluddin, serving under Bhuragaon SDC (Sub-Divisional Officer), allegedly demanded a bribe from a local resident named Faizuddin.
According to sources, Faizuddin visited Jalaluddin’s rented house to provide the demanded bribe. Seizing the opportunity, the vigilant sleuths of the Chief Minister’s vigilance and anti-corruption team promptly apprehended Jalaluddin red-handed as he accepted the bribe from Faizuddin.
